Israel Blames Iran for Car Bombs
Marverine Cole | Feb 13, 2012 | 1min:08sec
The Israeli Government has blamed Iran for planting two car bombs outside the country's embassies in India and Georgia today.
One went off outside the building in Delhi. The Israeli ambassador to India wasn't hurt in the attack, but one woman was injured. Witnesses told local TV a motorcyclist had put a device on the car when it stopped in traffic. Forensic teams spent the day examining damage to nearby vehicles. Meanwhile a second bomb - found in a car belonging to a member of embassy staff - was defused in Tbilisi.
Israel had tightened security at its embassies after Iran accused it of a series of attacks on its nuclear scientists. Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu also claimed that Iran was behind the recent foiled plots in Thailand and Azerbaijan.
